JOHN SEWELL, JR. "Jay" (Age 62)  
On Monday, July 23, 2018, John Edward Sewell Jr. of Rockville, MD passed away. He was born in South Charleston, West Virginia on August 9,1955 to John and Virginia Sewell and was a beloved husband of Linda Chen of Rockville, MD. John was loving father to Justyne Paxton (Eric) of Baltimore, MD and Jennifer Sewell of Rockville, MD, grandfather to Sophia Paxton, and brother to Robert Sewell (Sandra) and Mark Sewell (Maureen). John will also be missed by his nieces and nephews Shannon Sewell, Luke Sewell, Elizabeth Block, Lauren Arthur (Robert), Sarah Sewell, and Mark Sewell Jr. John was an IT Specialist for Marriott International in Rockville for 30 years and a graduate of Virginia Tech, where he majored in Business Administration and Computer Science. John will be missed here on earth as he joins family and friends in God's house.Funeral services were held on July 31, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Gaithersburg, MD. Following the service, John was laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery, Germantown, MD. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. To johns Family and friends:
I am deeply saddened to hear about the recent loss of John. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss during this difficult time of grief. I worked closely with John several times, and each time he was so warm and clearly dedicated to his job.
I will keep John's family in my prayers, and may the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
