Although I did not know Jonathan, his stepmother and I have been friends since age 4, and I certainly heard how very proud Cyn and Gary were of him. Last time I was home, my husband and I enjoyed hearing about his business and how talented he was. We are so very sorry to hear this tragic news.
Our hearts go out to the whole family.

Jon and I worked closely at Stanley Martin together and remained friends after he moved on to pursue his own business. Jon had the biggest heart and the sweetest demeanor, his smile could light up a room, he was a good friend and I can't tell you how much he will be missed. There are no words to describe what an impression he left on myself and everyone who knew him. Our deepest sympathies to his family at this time, you are in our thoughts.

Jon was a great person whom I got to know well when we worked together at Stanley Martin, then even better when his company worked in my house over the last year. Every day he had a smile and a contagiously positive attitude. He became a friend and Marjie and I will miss him.

I worked with Jon at Stanley Martin from 2004-2005. I will always remember him laughing and making jokes at my expense. He was a wonderful person who has truly touched my life as well as the lives of others. He will be greatly missed.
My Deepest Sympathies,
Mandy Shaffer

My sincerest condolences to his family. A terrible tragedy to lose such a good person. It was always a pleasure to work with him as he was responsible and conscientious in everything he did.
