Joseph E. Cuevo (Age 62)
On Tuesday, September 7, 2021 of Bethesda, MD. Born January 10, 1959 in Houston, TX. Joseph graduated Walt Whitman HS and Northern Virginia Community College with a degree in Emergency Medical Services Technology. He worked as a Nursing Assistant, ER Technician, Ambulance Supervisor and a Unit Secretary for University of Colorado Medical Center, Providence Hospital, Huntemann Ambulance Service, Lifestar Response, and Adventist Healthcare. Joseph volunteered for over 45 years at the American Red Cross/Montgomery County First Aid Unit. Beloved husband of the late Lolita Tolentino Cuevo; cherished son of Julia S. and the late Dr. Nemesio G. Cuevo; devoted brother of Raymund (Margaret) and John (Jennifer); loving uncle of Connor, Julianne, and Jenna Cuevo and the late Natalie, Marie, and Claire. Also survived by his step-daughter, Lorabelle Tolentino. Family will receive friends at PUMPHREY'S BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE FUNERAL HOME, 7557 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 6900 River Road, Bethesda, MD on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Gabriel's Parish Cemetery, Potomac, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to The Montgomery County First Aid Unit, Explorer Post 742, PO Box 1577, Wheaton MD 20915.
