JOSEPH C. McDONOUGH, Age 80, a retired army major general who served in combat in two wars, died June 22, 2005 at Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, VA.. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Patricia McDonough; their sons Joseph C. McDonough of Corona Del Mar, CA., Thomas M. McDonough of Vienna, VA, and Robert T. McDonough of New York, NY; and two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 10:45 a.m. at Fort Myer Post Chapel. Interment with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gen. McDonough's honor to Army Emergency Relief Fund, 200 Stovall Rd., Alexandria, VA. 22332. Arrangements by ADAMS GREEN FUNERAL HOME, Herndon, VA.
