On November 25, 2014, Joseph (Champ) Waclawski, Jr. beloved husband of Terry L. Waclawski (nee Dutrow); devoted father of Tina W. Kahl and her husband Paul and Michael J. Waclawski and his wife Angie; dear brother of Leon Waclawski, Connie Bingham and Eileen Trescott; loving grandfather of Kaylin, Evan and Sofia. Family will receive friends at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Wednesday 4-8 PM where a memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network 4915 St. Elmo Ave. Suite 202 Bethesda, MD 20814

I am very sorry to learn of Champ's passing. I didn't know him long. He designed my hydronic heating system and came out to my house. He was a very knowledgeable and nice guy. I felt like he was a longtime friend. I will pray for him.
