Joyce Lancaster Gianiny

Joyce Lancaster Gianiny passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025. She was born in Mississippi and grew up in Washington, DC. She later moved to Maryland where she raised her family. In her later years she moved to Leisure World where she was active in golf, Red Hat's, and spending time with her friends and family. She will be remembered for her happy spirit and love of dancing. She is predeceased by her husband Fred Gianiny and leaves behind three children Diane, Fred, and Bob, plus seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at on October 12, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Leisure World Interfaith Chapel. A private reception will follow. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Leisure World Interfaith Chapel.
