Juanita Griffin

Of Washington, DC, and Rockledge, Florida, transitioned peacefully on October 16, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was a devoted wife to the late Bishop Archie M. Griffin, Sr., an evangelist, stepmother, grandmother, aunt, and treasured friend whose kindness, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to God made a lasting impact on all who knew her. Juanita is survived by her sister, Olalee Williams, two stepsons, Anthony and Bruce Griffin along with a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, 10 a.m. visitation followed by service at 11 a.m., at Guiding Light Refuge Baptist Church, 1 - 51st Street SE, Washington, DC 20019. Interment Heritage Cemetery.
