Judith Blodgett Obituary

Judith Ann Blodgett, of Washington, DC, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025 from complications of diabetes. Judy was born December 30, 1943 in New York City, NY, to parents Henrietta and Burr Blodgett. She grew up in Syracuse New York where she attended Nottingham High School. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin she took up a backpack and set out to travel all around the world. She settled in Amsterdam for a decade and then upon returning to the States she moved to Washington, DC. She worked at a variety of jobs mostly in HR programs. She continued her love of travel and new experiences. After retirement she spent her time caring for dogs and reading voraciously. She lived with spirit and independence and was always ready for a good discussion and to learn something new. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by sister, Eloise Singh and brother William Blodgett, nephews Ranjit Singh, Korey and Kyler Blodgett and nieces Anjali Singh-Code and Kensie Bodgett, along with three grandnephews and a grand niece.
A small family celeberation of life will be held at a later date.
