Julian Najera Obituary

Julian Corral Najera, a proud veteran of the United States Air Force passed away January 8, 2024, in Fort Washington Maryland. He served in the Air Force for 20 years and retired as a Master Sargent in 1971. Mr. Najera is survived by his wife of 73 years, Anita. Surviving children are Linda Najera (Greg Rowland) of Spartanburg South Carolina, Kathy Najera of Laurel Maryland, and Gary Najera of Ft. Washington Maryland. He was predeceased in death by his son, James. He is survived by two grandsons, James Najera and Raymond Campbell. He was born on February 16, 1932, to Pedro and Antonia Najera. Mr. Najera graduated from the University of Oklahoma. His military service included deployment in Saudia Arabia. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Department of Transportation. Mr. Najera was laid to rest with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery, April 24, 2024. Arrangements were handled by Lee Funeral Home, Clinton Maryland. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to their favorite charity in Julian's name.
