I am saddened by the loss of Kelli. She was so helpful to me and offered solace upon the passing of my dear Randy Carroll in August 2018. I cannot begin to express my sorrow to her family. I can only continue to pray for their peace and acceptance of the loss of a beautiful person whose life was well lived.

Kelli shared herself with us organically. She was honest, sincere, fun-loving, hard-working, pointed and forgiving - just beautiful. As her co-worker, I learned that her family meant the world to her...feeling incomplete in Japan without Foster, searching excitedly for Essence magazines as memorabilia for her father's wedding, talking with such love about her baby brother, and sharing the missionary work of her mother. We shared countless hours encouraging one another in support of our career paths and experiences. As her friend, we teased about AKA vs Delta; Cowboys vs the Giants and we reflected often on our Christian walk - not always easy not always understandable but always knowing we served a God who loved us unconditionally, no matter what we went through with co-workers, family, and friends. To her family, friends and all of us that loved Kelli dearly...

Fond memories of my dearest Kelli whose passing still shatter me.
I still laugh when I remember how we screamed, looked at each other and then burst out laughing while watching Cujo. We kept waking up her mom who was somewhat annoyed with our reactions.
I remember her surprised reaction when she received the Paper-fest I had delivered to her when she was at Tulane. Target had an incredible sale on paper goods and I couldn't resist sending her jumbo quantities of paper towels, toilet and facial tissue. When she was informed that she had a delivery package she had no idea of the box loads awaiting her!
I was quite honored when her mom flew me in from CA to host a tea party for Kelli's baby shower. I smile at the photos we took and remember how we made sure that some of my infamous caramel cake Foster was set aside for Foster.
Jacob was surprised with a selection of huge dinosaurs that I had purchased with an employee discount during my temporary holiday job with Mattel. Kelli said when the boxes arrived (shortly after the holidays), it was like Christmas had started all over again!
Because of Kelli, I still decorate my bedroom with white accessories during the summer months. I so admired how her bedroom looked in her apartment when she lived/worked in Long Beach, CA.
Well I guess I've said enough. I'm still sighing with disbelief that my Kelli-girl has slipped away.
(Kelli-girl is my derivation on how her mom would speak of her as "my girl")

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is aching and I hope you heal soon. She was a class act and a beautiful human inside and out. I met her at NSF years ago.

Dear Foster and Jacob,
While we never met Kellina, the strong and positive legacy of his parents shows in Jacob whom Jim sees at ICHS. You have our sincere condolences and prayers as you walk through this time of loss and change. We share your hope and confidence that you will be reunited and rejoice with Kellina around the throne of the Lord Jesus forever. May our great God make his presence and comfort very real to you until then.
