It was my great pleasure to have crossed the path of life with Lalla. I was one of her chemotherapy nurses for several years. She remained always stoic, pleasant, motivated to live, dedicated to her daughter and extended family and gracious to all those she encountered despite the many ups and downs of treatment. She never lost hope and if hope waivered she regained it fully with a little encouragment and reminder of the inner strength she posessed. Lalla first and foremost was always a lady and I learned a lot about life and what in it is most important from her. I will miss you Lalla, and certainly never forget you. Rest in Peace my dear lady and rejoice in reunion with Mr. Dodge.
Always, Melanie
