Dearest Denise and Dawn,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your sister Laurie, I have many many wonderful memories during our shared times in Girl Scouts. My family and I will keep you,Laurie's husband and children and your family in our thoughts and prayers. I am sure Sally (Marsha) greated her with open arms when she arrived in heaven saying "once a Scout always a Scout" lets go find a campfire!

I am sorry to hear about Laurie's death. We grew up together in Gardenville, living just a couple of houses away. We walked to school together and played together. We were best friends for awhile growing up. I was hoping one day to connect with her with all of the social media. I am sorry to about Steve's passing some years back. I heard about it after the fact as well. My prayers are with her Whole family. Colleen Kahler Humphries, Edgewood, MD

Ms. McGrath was one of the kindest, most wonderful people I have ever known. I attended elementary school with her oldest son Aiden, who is much like his mother. Though we now go to different high schools, I still consider Aiden to be a very close friend. The words Mr. Craver spoke at her funeral touched me deeply. He is a truly great father to his two boys. I offer the Cravers my sincere condolences and they are in my prayers. May she rest in peace.

I just learned of Laura's death today, 9/27, in an email from a colleague from UM. Jim and Laura were two of my favorites when they appeared as students and then friends and colleagues in the DC area until I left years ago. Images of Laura that come to mind are so alive I just can't believe I'm writing in a funeral guest book. My thoughts are with Jim and I'll be at the mass I understand is happening today in spirit.

Rest in the peace of God, Laura. You will be remembered and loved by me and many others who had the good fortune to know you. In the fullness of time, we will all be together again where there are no more tears or pain or sorrow. Only love and joy beyond our present experience. Until we meet again in that place, my God hold you in the palm of his hand. Affectionately, Patrick Bickers
