Laura Pike Obituary

Of Potomac, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Suburban Hospital. Laura is the cherished daughter of Annette Gardiner Pike and the late James Milton Pike. Loving sister of James Jeffrey (Brenda) Pike, Robert Andrew (Terri) Pike. Endearing Aunt of Amanda Marie Pike and Robert Christopher Pike. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Laura Pike was a graduate of Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Maryland. She also recently retired from the National Institutes of Health. Laura enjoyed music, dancing, singing, cooking and being with family and friends. Her positive outlook on life and warm smile brought happiness and comfort to everyone she met.

The family will receive friends at Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Home, Rockville, Inc., 300 W. Montgomery Ave, Rockville, MD on Fri. Sept 5, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Children's Inn.
