LAWRENCE ANIXT Obituary


Lawrence Anixt "Larry"  
Of Potomac, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2020, at the age of 88. Larry is survived by Angela, his beloved wife of 51 years; his daughter Adriane (Hartmut Wedler) of Erlangen, Germany; son Daniel (Stephanie Bovee), and daughter Julia (Scott Hassell). Larry also is survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Larry was born in New York City, NY to Julius and Cecelia Anixt and attended college at New York University, where he attained a BA in History. He also served as an officer in the United States Army. Larry began his business career with Brunswick Corporation in Europe. He spent the majority of his career as an executive with Olin Corporation. In his free time, Larry enjoyed traveling, playing bridge with Angela and their many friends, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Due to the COVID pandemic, Larry's service will be attended by immediate family only. Plans for a memorial service will be announced at a future date.
