Lawrence Sifel Obituary
On May 8, 2006 of Mechanicsville, MD. Husband of Jean R. Sifel; son of Irene and the late John Sifel; father of Benjamin J. Sifel. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and very close friends. Family will receive friends Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the BRINSFIELD- ECHOLS FUNERAL HOME, 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622, from 5 to 6 p.m. with Time of Remembrance at 6 p.m. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Calverton School, 300 Calverton School Rd., Huntingtown, MD 20639 or to the charity of your choice.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Words can not express my feelings for you at this time of your utmost loss. I remember Larry as the handsome young man I knew as a child, our families did not get togethr often but when we did I remember admiring your son. Now as an adult, having had many loses of my own, I know the hurt and pain you are feeling.
Jean, I am sorry we never met, my thoughts and prayers go to you and your precious son, Ben. May you find peace and comfort from your loving friends and relatives.
