My deepest condolences to the Yates Family:

Tony was a son, a husband, and a father.

In his ministry, he looked after the forgotten, fed the hungry, housed the homeless, and counseled those wrought with despair and hopelessness. Through it all, his faith remained strong.

I will truly miss him.

Goodness and mercy followed Tony all the days of his life. Now, he will dwell in the House of the Lord--forever.

To Karen & Family with deepest sympathy. In remembrance of a man who loved the Lord, his wife, children, and the many children & adults whose lives he has touched through Camp Dynamite -- mine included. I remember the last time, a few months ago, that I saw you and Tony at the Checkers and the long conversation we had in the parking lot. Who would have known that was going to be our last conversation, no wonder it covered such a wide variety of topics. I pray that you will be comforted with the comfort that God has promised to us who believe.

Love,

Tiwana, Nechelle, Ashley

My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to you all during this time. Tony and my family go way, way back - since childhood, when Bro. Bob was our pastor. That's where my sister and brothers met Tony. He will be missed, but we will see him again. May God's peace be upon you and your families.

To Karen and family, I want you all to know that I'm truly sorry for your lost. Tony's death is as much a lost to my family, as well. He was there for Clarence(DeJay) when a young man's life needs that positive male influence. I am truly gratful to God for placing Tony in our path.

I thank him for introducing the Lord to my son. And for that, I know Clarence (DeJay), will be a great man of God. I want you to know that because of the love, support, positive influence and strong guidance from Tony, I have a very mature and well mannered christian young man. With all the obstacles, that are placed in front of our young black boys/mens life, I can honestly say with Tony's help my son has overcome them. Tony can rest in peace knowing, Bubba as he would call DeJay, has made a positive transition from boy to man. Tony will live on in all the lives he has touched.

If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to call.

Love Kathy J. Adams and Clarence D. Adams Jr.
