LESTER FINGERMAN
On Monday, March 7, 2011 LESTER FINGERMAN of Rockville, MD; beloved husband of Eleanor; devoted father of Gary (Ilene), Richard (Katherine) and Robert; loving grandfather of Steven, Megan, Hillarie, Elizabeth, Brandon, Cheyenne and Lucas; great-grandfather of five Annisa, Aziah, Ashlynn, Sienna and Emma. Also survived by Iris Coopersmith, Steffie, James, Devon and Shelby Johnson. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11, 11 a.m. at DANZANSKY GOLDBERG MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1170 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. Interment King David Memorial Gardens, Falls, Church, VA. Family will be receiving friends immediately following interment at residence of Jim and Steffie Johnson. I remember Lester sitting in the front of our salon waiting for his wife to get her hair done. I would go say hi and he would tell me a joke. He was sweet and funny and happy always.

It seems impossible that 10 years have passed since Lester left us. He was such a nice man. Kind and funny. I always went up front in the salon to say hi and he always said something funny and he was always happy to see me. Remembering Lester always makes me smile.

I remember Lester very well. He would sit patiently waiting for Eleanor to get her hair done. And always I would go up front to say hello. He always said something funny. He had a great sense of humor and so dry. He didnt even smile when he joked so you never knew for a minute or two if he was kidding or serious. I always laughed. He was a sweet man. We had a good friendly relationship. And he loved Eleanor.
