LEWIS A. JONES, III "Pluck"
Passed on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. He is survived by his son, Lewis A. Jones, IV; two sisters, Deborah and Kim Jones; one brother, Kevin Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., funeral service at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10 at New Samaritan Baptist Church, 1100 Florida Ave. N.E. Services by HORTON FUNERAL HOME.

I got news of Pluck's passing this morning. Wow! Tears came to my eyes… man you are much too young to be gone from here. I remembered when I had seen Pluck on the avenue not thinking it would be the last time. He always had a smile on his face and felt good about life. From the day I met Pluck, Kim and Deb at old Bruce elementary…yall were one of the most-friendliest families. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Jones family. May God Bless you,

Pluck was always trying to unravel the mysteries and keys to life and success. He had ideas that most people would not have thought. He was willing to try new things. Pluck never stood still. He always had a smile on his face and always ready for excitement. He truly loved and admired his family. Pluck gave great praise to the people he admired.
