When I drive past her old street in Burke, I often think of her, Alexa, and Christian. I pray the kids are doing well and that they will always remember how much Lisa loved them both. I also pray they will be comforted to know she is no longer hurting but she fought valiantly to spend her life being their mother. I pray for her mother and Gary that they too will be comforted to know how faithful she was. She possessed an uncommon kindness and beauty.

Bob and I met baby Lisa in Hickory Cluster in 1966. We lived across the street staying in this perfect Reston place from the mid 60s till 1978. When both families moved to Lakewinds Cluster in 1979 we continued to enjoy watching our children grow up. We parents were strength for the journey--for our children and for each other. Our lives are diminished by her departure. Harriet Hanlon (Reston, VA)

Lisa was the mother of two of the nicest kids who ever attended White Oaks Elementary! Alexa is so much like her, beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. And Christian has her beautiful smile and sense of humor! Both kids are so polite and respectful and a tribute to their amazing mother and great families! I will miss her.

Lisa was a beautiful person, inside and out, as well as intelligent and fun. It was a privilege to have known and loved her for many years, and a delight to have also worked with her on banknote security. I know how she loved the banknote business, and especially counterfeit deterrence, and she is a loss to us all. May she rest in peace, knowing how much we all loved her.
