WENDAL LUCETTE L. (Green) WENDAL (Age 85) Of Annandale, VA, on Sunday, January 18, 2009, at home. Devoted mother of Ruth Doane (Jerry); grandmother of Lauren Doane. Born Lyon France, she was a survivor of WWII and one of the first war brides to arrive in America after marrying an american G.I. Friends may call at FAIRFAX MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA on Friday, January 23, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside funeral service will be held at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, VA on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Fairfax County, 4057 Chainbridge Rd., Fairfax, VA 22030. www.fmfh.com
