LUCRETIA M. PASCHALL (Age 95)  1920 ~ 2016  
On Sunday, January 17, 2016. Beloved wife of Alvie Paschall; devoted mother of Samuel Paschall and Matthew (Jimmie) Paschall; loving grandmother of Matthew Paschall and Carly Paschall. Lucretia was born in Washington, DC and spent her life impacting thousands in the Metropolitan area, including young people and colleagues through the District of Columbia Public Schools, member of Zion Baptist Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, families throughout the Brightwood community and seniors across the Metropolitan area. Lucretia completed Dunbar High School in 1936 at the age of 15 and subsequently earned four degrees, B.S. in Education from Miners Teachers College, degrees from Howard University, Case Western Reserve and M.S. from Catholic University of America in 1953. Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 4, 11 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, 4850 Blagden Ave., NW Washington, DC 20011. The Delta Sigma Theta Omega Omega Ceremony will start at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, which c/of Deacon Darryl Frase (202) 722-4940 www.mcguire-services.com
