On Saturday, June 23, 2012, of Canton, GA, formerly of Langley Park, MD. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Sullivan) Rodriguez; father of Cecelia (Ronald) Ball, Raymond, Donald (Debbie), Gerard (Alina) and the late Joseph Rodriguez; grandfather of Christine (James) Ivey, Kellie (John) Saragusa, Jessica (Michael) Duplantis, Nicholas, Heather, Robert, Rachel, Derek (Ashley), Drew and the late Natalie Rodriguez; great-grandfather of Christian and Joseph Saragusa, Alexis and Mia Duplantis, Nathan and Jackson Ivey; brother of Catherine Dean and the late William, Fred and Raymond Rodriguez. When his sister Cathy & I were friends at l7, and I met her 4 older, big brothers, I thought Boobin was just a great guy & I still do. This is yet another sad loss for us all. Much love to you all, from all of us.

Oh, how I will miss the loud pants (shamrocks, beers, chilis, plaid- what am I leaving out?), the crazy alarms going off at all hours, the big warm "yello!" greeting on the phone, getting kicked out of the club, getting back in the club (Pop Pop, you are out of the club; I saw that photo of Sarah Palin and John McCain on your mantel), the beach houses and boats, going for crabs with the family at Hooper's (even though I hated/still hate crabs), the crock pot full of yummy bean soup, and most of all, that electric Pop Pop smile that immediately let you in on the secret that you were, in fact, in the club all along.
Love you Pop Pop.
