I first met Mackenzie on the Lakelands pool deck and I will never forget her. She had a quiet strength and an indelible spirit that helped to inspire and guide our younger swimmers in such a positive way. My thoughts and prayers are with Mackenzie's entire family, she was an incredibly special child and I'm honored to have known her.

My lasting memory is the beautiful girl with the lovely smile at the Family Reunion. Mackenzie, you won the heart of all the family. I didn't know it would be the last time I would see you, but that memory will be there forever. God bless you. Aunt "g"

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Mackenzie was a friendly, happy girl. Our son, William was very fond of her. She was a good friend to him. She made an impression on us as parents in the short time we knew her.
