MARIAN A. MORSE
On Friday, June 26, 2015, Marian A. Morse of Washington, DC. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Morse, Sr; devoted mother of Kevin (Judy), Noland, and Eugene Jr. (Nicole); dear sister to the late Sidney, Howard (Diccie), Wendell, Lionel, Beatrice, and Carolyn; loving grandmother of Crystal, Nicole, Najee, Kevin Jr., Noland Jr., Nyla, and Ava. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Morse will lie in state at Galilee Baptist Church, 2101 Shadyside Avenue, Suitland, MD, on Thursday, July 2 from 9:30 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Services entrusted to A. L. Bennett and Son.

Hey Grandma. So, I have some news. I'm having a baby boy!!! Can you believe it? I can't lol. But yes - GOD has blessed me with yet another gift. I'm due July 30th. We're going to name him Sir, Bradley. I still think about all the moments we shared, the wisdom you instilled in me and all the love you bestowed upon me. No one will ever be able to replace your spirit. I still miss you every day.

Hey Sister,(My friend, My protector,My Always there for me person: I am missing you so much, conversations, visits, phone calls, etc. I am so grateful for the time we shared together. I remember when you sang in the Women's Choir, that I talked you into. You were so excited and nervous. The members of the choir made you so welcome, and you got through it. Well I did the same thing this year , I joined the women's choir, so I said I can do it too. I miss our long phone conversations. When you see Howard, and Bumpsy tell them I miss them too. Hey Grama, Lauryn´s 8 now. Can´t believe I actually lasted this long. Being a mom is hard. I miss you. I wish I could talk to you and tell you everything. I wish I had your ear and wise words for advice. Who knew being an adult could be so traumatic... you were the best parent a kid could ever ask for. All of my childhood memories are of you and I am so grateful for those memories and positive moments. Thank you for that. I want you to know that I could never forget about you and I still talk about you to Lauryn. I always tell her I wish she got the chance to meet you. You´re the only genuine spirit worth actually meeting. I really hate it here. I know that you know that. Just know that I am trying. Really really hard. I love you grandma. Marian was kind, nice and someone you could count on. Thank you so much Marian for being a good friend to me when I needed a friend. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
