MARVIN KOGOD  
On Thursday, March 15, 2012, MARVIN KOGOD of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Washington, DC. Beloved husband of the late Muriel; devoted father of Mark (Linda), Bruce (Leslye) and Karen (Ron Fine); dear brother of Robert (Arlene) Kogod and Harriett (Jack) Bobb; loving grandfather of Sally (Bryan) Biederman, Alex, Dillon, Max and Jack (Sarah) Kogod, Katie and Russell (fiancée, Julie) Fine; cherished great-grandfather of Wyatt Biederman. He is also survived by his companion, Gert, and his caretaker, Vita. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012, 10 a.m. at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb St., NW, Washington, DC. Interment following at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. After the interment, the family will receive relatives and friends at the home of Bruce and Leslye through Monday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to The Dempster Family Foundation, P.O. Box 371, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001 (endorsed by the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington).

Marvin was a gentleman and an inspiration to all of us that dealt with Maurice Electric.
Our sincere condolences go out to Mark and Bruce on their loss.
He will always be remembered as the face of Lighting in the DC, market.
