Mary Carmella Grillbortzer (Age 93)
Mary Carmella Grillbortzer, born July 3, 1927 in Washington, DC to the late Vincenzo and Mary Bello, died December 11, 2020, She was the wife of the late William E. Grillbortzer, Jr. and is preceded in death by her children James, John, and Janet and siblings Carmine, Anthony and Ann (Bilo). She is survived by her four grandchildren, Theresa (Richey), Tina (Oden), John Grillbortzer and Jennifer Grillbortzer, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She will also be remembered by very special friends and extended family Johnny and Theresa Mitchell, Donna Munson, Clara Beavers, Peggy Rice, Yessie and Katy Diaz, David and Zo Bochung and Daniel and Patricia Holt. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed dancing, spending time with family and friends and bowling, playing for decades until age 92 with the Owls on the Early Bird Ladies Wednesday morning bowling league. Interment will be private at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

From 1955 to 1963 she was the neighborhood mom. Many hours spent playing with John and Janet. She was a wonderful women ..... may she Rest in Peace.
