Mary Quackenbush Obituary

Peacefully, on Friday, May 23, 2025 of Potomac, MD with her family by her side following a rich and full life. She was born in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, on December 8, 1938.
Beloved wife of COL(R) Robert (Bob) E. Quackenbush, Jr.; devoted mother of Robert (Priscilla), John (Donna), James (MaryAnn), and David (Susan). She is also survived by her nine cherished grandchildren; one precious great granddaughter; brother, George (Mary Jane) Lawton; sister, Jane (Sister Marie Georgette, RSHM) Lawton; sister-in-law, Ann (Giles) Harlow; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Montgomery Ave, Rockville, MD on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 11815 Seven Locks Road, Potomac, MD on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 10 a.m. Interment at West Point Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Daniel Pierce Library, 328 Main Street, Box 268, Grahamsville, NY 12740.
