Memories and Condolences

Not sure what to say?

Mr. Kelliher as I remember him. (1975 St. Paddy's Day Party)

I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Kelliher passing away. (Yes, at 51, I still call him 'Mr. Kelliher'). Way back in 1967 your family opened your arms to us Foleys when we moved in next door and you've kept them open ever since. Please know, you are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. I'm sure 'The Captain' was there to welcome him aboard.

Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences in your family's recent sorrow. Even though I did not get to see you all as much as the rest of my family, I still felt included in the closeness, warmth and love that you all shared. I think of us as one large family, instead of 2 families that lived next door to each other. The memories will always be there. You are in my thoughts, prayers and heart.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Kellihers, especially Jackie, at this sad time. In my youth, Mr. Kelliher was always there, along with my Dad, providing a strong model of fatherhood. I will remember his wonderful smile, and his warm greeting of me whenever he saw me, and the many times he and Jackie came to my parent's home when I was young. Dad and Mr. Kelliher knew each other for at least 43 years. I know they are sitting in heavenly sunshine together looking in on us.

I want to express my sincere sympathy on Bud's passing. I've always enjoyed the special occasions I've spent with the family as an extended family member. I loved his smile, warmth, humor and conversation. He will be missed but never forgotten.

It is hard to imagine a world without Bud Kelliher's warmth and humor - so I won't. I will remember his wide smile and warm greetings everytime I walked in the door from the driveway.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

We were so sorry to hear that Mike had passed away. Our deepest sympathy to Jackie and the family. We have many good memories of Mike and Jackie and the kids at the neighborhood pool when we were all so much younger. We will miss seing him and St. Johns and we are sorry we won't be there for the funeral as we are still in New York. We are keeping him and the family in our prayers.

I will remember the many hours of discussion on political discussions, ranging from Worcester to the world, with Uncle Bud. I will remember his directions to his kids to "help your mother..." I will remember his dark summer tan. I will miss him.
