I just read this today and had the privilege of being one of his patients. He was an exemplary doctor, honest, sincere and one of the most caring humans I´ve ever met. I am so sorry for your loss and know he still is in the hearts of many for the gracious way we were treated.

Dear Family:
I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Dobridge as he has served on the MCMS Board for many years. As a former President, he was always dedicated to our mission, and he remained relevant and interested in the activities of the Society. He was also always very kind and supportive of me in my role. Thank you for sharing him with us in organized medicine. Praying for all of you.

To Dobridge family and friends, please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of Dr Dobridge, I am Laurie Nygaard and I worked for Dr Dobridge from 1966 to 1974. - first as a file clerk, while still in High School and finally as a jack of all trades ... front desk to medical assistant. I started when he had his office on Parkland Dr - moving to Forest Glen and finally to Aspen Hill when I moved to CA.
I have many good memories of my time working for Dr Dobridge, one of the first was when he would bring his dog Jerry in and plop him on an exam table and double as a veterinarian :>). He also would take the time throughout my employment to answer endless questions on diagnosis and treatments - I learned so much.
I believed then and still do that he was the best diagnostician ever and although maybe not everyone realized, no one cared more for the well being of his patients. He remembered every name and every family member and always had their best interests at heart.
When I would come back to Maryland for a visit, I would sometime drop into his office to say hello and he always update me on all his children. I remember Kathy and all the boys very well and although I never had the good fortune to meet the younger girls, It was evident how much he loved you all and how proud he was of each and every one of you.
I will remember him with great fondness. Laurie

My condolences to the Dobridge family. Michael was a mentor and colleague who helped me grow and emulate his qualities as a physician. Most of all he had tremendous caring for his patients and family. Ira Krefting
