Michael Gaver Obituary

GAVER Michael P. Gaver Social Worker / AIDS Activist Michael P. Gaver, 50, a long time resident of Reston, VA. died at his home in Reston, Thursday, March 20, 2008 from complications of hemophilia, after a lifelong struggle with the disease. Preceeded in death by brother John Gaver and brother Richard Gaver. He is survived by sister Elizabeth A. Gaver, also of Reston, VA; brother Stanley B.Gaver; sister-in-law, Barbara Gaver; nephew Matthew Gaver and nieces Katherine Gaver and Jennifer Gaver of McLean, VA. Memorial services will be at the Washington Plaza Baptist Church in Reston on Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m.

Mike and John were patients of mine for several years at GWUH. I learned a lot from having cared for both of them . They will be remembered as part of a special community. I feel and know your loss. They have not been forgotten. Carolyn
