MICHAEL NICK PITTAS
On June 10, 2007, of Springfield, VA. Beloved son of Nicholas and Ellen Pittas; brother of Stergios Pittas. Also survived by the Zissios, Tsardas and Kolovestios Families, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the EVERLY WHEATLEY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 W. Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA on Wednesday, June 13 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church, 3149 Glen Carlyn Rd, Falls Church, VA on Thursday, June 14 at 11 a.m. Interment Ivy Hill Cemetery, Alexandria, VA. Contributions in his memory may be made to: St. Katherine's and St. Theodors Greek Orthodox Church, 7101 Cipriano Rd, Lanham, MD 20706.

SO I LEARNT ABOUT MIKE'S PASSING TODAY 6/2017 THRU GOOGLE SEARCH...AND I AM STUNNED AND IN SHOCK... ALSO OF NICK AND HELEN'S PASSING...RIP...THEY ARE WITH MIKE AND WITH THE LORD... SO MY HEART IS SO HEAVY TODAY... AS MEMORIES ARE FLOODING AND FLASHING BY OF HELEN'S COOKING AND DINNERS AT THEIR HOUSE...XMAS BAKLAVA SHE MADE FOR HER CHURCH TO FEED AN ARMY....THE GOOD FUN WE HAD WITH FRIENDS DANCING TILL THE WEE HOURS... Michael you have no idea how much you meant to me and how much I loved you. I know you were proud of me and had very high expectations of me. I promise i'll do my best of becoming the man you always wanted. Dont worry about the family, I will take care of Mama,Baba and Nina. Just rest in peace,relax and wait for us to join you in the future.I promise I will never forget you and charish every advise,and moments we had together. We all miss you and cant wait to see you again. Take care of your self.

Michael was a sweet, happy man that we had the pleasure of knowing in the last years of his life. He touched our lives and we feel blessed that we were able to share so many good times with him and Serrita. Our hearts and prayers go out to Serrita and Michael's family.

Nick and Hellen and Stergio,
I met you shortly in my interactions with Michael. He painted some parts for my car back in the winter and he did everything he could to take care of my needs at the time. You have lost a good son, a free spirit.
May he rest in peace and it still tears at me to know this has happened to someone that I knew.

The Family & Friends, I am so sorry to hear about Michael. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Michael was such a great guy and so happy, last time I seen him and talked to him on the phone he was always thinking about his baby (Serrita) and wanting to always make her happy. They were so happy and in love and had a future together. This tragic accident doesnt seem real. We miss him and he will always be remembered and be in our hearts.

Michael will always have a special place in the hearts and minds of

Words cannot express how much you meant to me. We were so close for so many years. You were more like a brother to me than a cousin. My heart hurts so much because I never had the chance to tell you that I loved you one last time. You had a good heart and knew how to enjoy life. I'm so proud of the man you became.
