Creation was blessed the day Mickie came into being and she lived life fully with compassion, kindness, courage, wisdom and a generous and inviting smile. Surely God has said,
"Well done".
Grateful for her example. ....

I worked closely with Mickey on the staff of St. Mark Church in Vienna, VA. We put together RCIA ritual celebrations and Easter Vigil liturgies, shared lots of laughs and theological insights, rejoiced together as Pope Francis was elected, and had many deep conversations about liturgy, music and theology. Mickey was an important part of my spiritual journey. She was a wonderful woman and friend. She is in God's arms!

I was proud to know Mickey for most of my adult life. I was a colleague with her as a judge on the Superior Court. We began our judicial careers in the same year. When I met Mickey during my senior year at Georgetown University, she was one of several people who influenced me to attend law school. Two years apart, we later each clerked for Judge Spottswood W. Robinson, III, on the D.C. Circuit. I admired Mickey for her devotion to faith issues. This was the real Mickey. I will miss her sincerity, and I wish the family peace.

Wonderful Judge Edwards. She was greatly loved at the Superior Court and we were privileged to appear before her. May she rest in eternal joy and peace. Her memory is such a blessing.
