MILDRED JANETTE JACKSON RHODES (Age 88)  
Of Washington, DC, born December 11, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA. She transitioned to Glory Thursday, October 1, 2015 after a valiant 10 year battle with Parkinson's Disease. For many years Mildred worked in the Federal Government in Washington, DC as Procurement Officer and Supervisor. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Karen and Denise Rhodes; sister, Ruth Biddle of Yardley, PA. and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Mildred was predeceased by her parents, George and Wilhelmina Jackson; twin brother, George Jackson and her husband, Sumner P. Rhodes. Services Friday, October 9, Visitation 10 a.m., Memorial Service 11 a.m. at Takoma Park Baptist Church, 635 Piney Branch Rd., NW, Washington, DC 20012.

Ms. Denise Rhodes and Family, you have my deepest sympathy on the passing of Ms. Rhodes. It has indeed been a pleasure knowing her. She was a participant at our Daycare for several years, before she became too ill to attend. God Bless you and your family.
