NOAH MARKS (Age 15)
On Thursday, January 1, 2015, Noah Marks of Bethesda, MD. Beloved son of Stephen and Janna Marks; dear brother of Eli Marks; cherished grandson of Leslie (Louis Solomon) Marks, Robert (Elaine) Marks, Gerald (Shirley Fortune-Feitler) Feitler. Also survived by many loving aunts and uncles, Roger A. Marks, Nikki (Rachel Hutt) Marks, Jamie Feitler and Susan Coffland. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015, 2:30 p.m. at Temple Beth Ami, 14330 Travilah Road, Rockville, MD. Interment at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, MD. Family will be observing Shiva through Tuesday, (7 p.m. Minyan Services each evening) at the residence of Stephen and Janna Marks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Walter Johnson High School in memory of Noah Marks or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, www.afsp.org.www.sagelbloomfield.com

Dear Marks Family,
I was so saddened to hear of your loss. I remember Noah fondly from his North Bethesda days--especially from our NB trip to Europe. He was such a shining light, singing as our large group walked along different streets in different countries! He was truly a memorable child, and one with so many talents.

The outpouring of the community is testimony to how many peoples' lives were made better by Noah's presence. It is comforting to know so many share this loss with you. But no one who has not experienced a similar loss can begin to appreciate the depth of your heartache and the many ways your lives are forever changed.
Take good care of yourselves and of one another. Help to extend Noah's legacy and to keep memories of him alive for yourselved and for others who loved him. He will always be your son and brother but his life cut short means yours will take turns never expected. Make the changes count and do not lose yourselves in the swallows of grief. Sending love and warm wishes to you not only at this shocking time but also in the months and years to come as you weave new lives together that keep Noah close.

Mr. & Mrs Marks, your son was and is a very gifted young man. Noah entertained all of us with his many impressive talents. When he acted, played instruments, or sang as I prepared my aunt and uncle to pay close attention to him, before his most recent performance at the last Walter Johnson Winter Choral Concert, he was truly a gift to observe perform. I was also lucky enough to have such a not only stage talented, but human being talented young man bestow a wonderful friendship on my daughter Taylor.
