Dear Garland and Family, I am so sorry for your loss of your beloved wife and mother. I am heartbroken for you all that you must travel down this path, but we know that this is His path laid down before us that we must trod. You are loved by more than you realize, and our hearts go out to you. I am thankful that we were classmates 100 years ago at Montgomery Village Jr. High! I know Guy welcomed Patsy into the presence of our Lord and Savior. God bless you!

Sister Pat was a Phenomenal Woman of Faith. She loved God, her Family and her Friends immensely. Sister Pat willingly shared with everyone she met all of her talents, gifts and graces that God had deposited within her. I feel truly Blessed to have shared our Faith together and Love for each other.

To the Owens, Frances and Garey Family,
Sister Pat was an amazing woman and it was an honor to have known her. This is both a sad and happy occasion. Sad because of the loss you are going through but also happy because sister Pat has reached her final destination in life. She is now united with our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. May God comfort all of you during this time of bereavement. We love you.

I am surprised and deeply saddened to hear of Pat's passing. I met Pat by accident because she meant to call a different company and got me instead! She was so kind and warm yet completely professional. I won her trust and we began to work together on several projects. I always admired her calm competent manner. She always seemed to have multiple projects going on yet always was in control.
I will miss really miss her positive attitude and wonderful support. Sending prayers and peace for her beautiful family

Pat,
Was very special, I was the oldest and 1st born in this Garey family, but Pat was my big sister. She was always someone I could go to for advice and guidance. Since I was always impulsive she knew how to calm me down and set me straight. I read through some of the amazing things people had to say about my sister saying how GOD has a new angel. Well as far as I am concerned we all had an Angel here on Earth for over 60 years through Pat. She had a heart and a smile that we all had to know was of an angel. I will truly miss her, but I understand as an angel she was called home to glory to help brighten up Heaven as she brighten up things here on earth. Sis I love you and will work hard in my life to be able to see you again in Heaven.

Prayers for strength from God for the family as you deal with Pat's passing.
I will miss our conversations about church work and planning parties.
Many times we had discussions about our faith and how it helped us through the hard times. May the knowledge of her faith and how she lived bring peace and comfort to you all. She is at peace, with no more suffering and is seeing God face to face and someday we will see her again.
Love to you all

I was told about your loss today and wanted to reach out and extend my condolences. I'm sure your wife was a wonderful person that you will miss dearly. I'm sure she's in a wonderful place watching you.
I talk with Mike Uzzo a good amount and I know you've been a pastor for a while. I'm sure your faith will aid you more than ever and i'll pray for you and your wife.
Although we haven't seen each other for years I still feel the bond that we all had so many years ago. Please stay strong and don't hesitate to reach out if you ever wanted to talk or you were going to be in my part of the world.
Much love, your friend,

We were so saddened to hear Pat had transitioned to her heavenly home. Memories of her beautiful smile and warm hug will always be remembered. The fun calls, her robust laughter, her sincerity, love for her family and love for her church was remarkable. There is nothing Pat couldn't, wouldn't do for the people she loved in her life. I'll forever be grateful for her friendship, her caring, and her sincerity. She was a jewel in my eyes and will never be forgotten. Rev. Owens and the children we will always love you and pray as you go through this period. Your memories will always remain of the love she showered upon you. Blessings as you hold high the trophies of her love.
Rest in peace my friend!

So very sad, the day I heard Patsy passed away. I sat in my car for a few minutes and prayed for her soul and her family. How blessed that I had a chance to see her when I traveled to Maryland this past summer. A group of us got together and laughed, and reminisced about the good ole days. You could feel the love in the room and at the end of the evening I gave Patsy a hug and said how good it was to see her again. We all laughed as if time hadn't passed, truly timeless and the true meaning of 'Sisterhood'. From the moment we met in 1972, Patsy was like a sister to me. Sisterhood is everlasting, embedded, even though you go your separate ways, starting careers, raising families, living near or far. True sisterhood survives regardless of how much time has passed since you've last seen each other, it's always there. I am honored and blessed to have known Patricia Owens and to regard her as a sister. Sending deepest condolences to Garland, their beautiful children, her Mom Mrs. Garey, the Garey and Owens families. May you all find comfort and solace in your memories and even on the hardest days ahead cling to and hold tight the times you cherished with her. Rest in peace, my beloved sister. To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.
In Deepest Sorrow,
Marilyn

We enjoyed great times and 20 years of memories at her home Church, Allen Chapel AME Church. She was one of God's special angels upon this earth. It's always sad when the Giver of Life recalls one of his angels, but we must be glad that she now walks on streets of gold, lives in crystal mansions, and picks fruit from the trees of healing. May God bless, comfort, and strengthen her beloved husband, Garland, children Erica, Corinne, Jessie, and Garland Jr, and the family.

Pat Owens is the closest example of an angel on earth that I have ever witnessed. I cannot think of one negative thing about her. During the 30+ years I knew her, I can attest that she was a godly woman who loved God, her husband, children, parents, siblings, and friends. If you were fortunate enough to have known Pat, you knew you were blessed by her presence. She was talented and didn't mind sharing her talents with the world. I am so happy I was able to spend some quality time with her and the family recently and it will forever remain in my heart. To Garland, Erica, Corrine, Jessica, and Little Garland, please know that Patrice and I are praying for your strength and peace as you go through this period of bereavement. You are not alone and we are just a phone call away. We send our love.
