Paul Butler Obituary
On Saturday, July 8, 2006 at his residence in Clinton, MD; survived by wife, Linda Gray Butler; daughter, Taryn Butler Lewis; son-in-law, Maurice Lewis; 17 sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; 10 nieces; seven nephews; special childhood friend, Christine Hough and a host of other family and friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 13, from 6:30 until 9 p.m. at Union Bethel AME Church, 6810 Floral Park Rd., Brandywine, MD, and 9 a.m. Friday, July 14, until hour of service at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. Harry L. Seawright, Pastor. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11331 Amherst Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902.

When they made the term Godfather, they must have had the name Paul Butler in mind, because God could not have given me a better person to be a 2nd father to me. Paul, I love you always. You have always been there to love and support me. And I will never forget the talk we had before Taryn's wedding. I celebrate having known Paul and the good times we shared at MBDA. He always called me Mr. Short and Squatty with a big wide body. I remember his love for his family and the ponies at Rosecroft. I know he's looking down on us now and his smile and laugh will be missed. God best us all!

I'm sorry that the boys and I were not able to be there in body today, but do know that we were there in spirit. Uncle Paul's smiles, laughter, jokes and wit will truly be missed. When times get hard remember to hold on to Gods unchanging hands to carry you through.

Paul was a former co-worker at MBDA. I remember him as a very nice, friendly & congenial person. I am so sorry for your loss. As the days pass, I hope your heart becomes filled with beautiful memories instead of sadness.
