I met Paul Steiner 25 years ago, a year after my father died. He hired me at the DOJ. He quickly became not only my boss, but a mentor, friend, and father figure. I'll never forget our business trips to Tennessee and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Or, the time we spent at his cabin in West Virginia installing a bathroom vanity and taking a night hike on the property. Or the time he held my newborn daughter in his arms with a huge smile on his face. In fact, I can barely remember Paul without a smile on his face. He was kind, smart, loyal, and he deeply loved his family. I learned so much from Paul about work, family, and life in general. I'll miss you dearly my friend.
