Ralph Semsker Obituary
RALPH M. SEMSKER (77)
passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2011 surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Richard. He is survived by his devoted wife, Isadora; his children; daughter-in-law Barbara, Abigail (Scott) Denny, Rebecca (Ron) Raich, and Michael (Helen); a brother Al (Rita) Cohen, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Matthew and Jessica Lippman, mother-in-law Belle Lippman. Ralph is also survived by his nine beloved grandchildren. Former owner of Carlton's Mens Store, Washington DC. In his later years, he retired to the Delaware seashore where he pursued his love of painting. He was a recurring participant in the summer Art shows on Delmarva. Services will be held at the Washington Hebrew Congregation, Washington D.C., 2 p.m. Monday June 13 with burial to follow at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. Shiva Monday and Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the comprehensive transplant center at Johns Hopkins, 100 N. Charles St., Suite 422A Baltimore, MD 21201. Ralph will forever be remembered for his whimsical beach houses.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. I met Ralph through his art and discovered the wonderful human being behind the brush. He was a great man and fantastic artist. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
