RICHARD O. JONES (Age 74)
Richard O. Jones of Ravenna, Ohio, died on Sunday, September 4, 2022, in Riverdale, MD. Born to Reese and Gladys (Trumphour), he graduated in 1966, enlisted in the Air Force, deployed to Vietnam, gave his life to Jesus through the work of the Navigators August 24, 1969, graduated U of MD BA English, active church life at Wallace PCA starting in 1973 where he met and later married Marie, worked for Verizon, and is survived by his brother, Dave, sister Marjorie, son Daniel (w. Kendra), daughters Sarah (h. Josh), Rachel (h. Edward), Ruth, Lydia, and seven grandkids. Details for Celebration of Life service: Wallace Presbyterian Church in College Park, MD, Sunday, September 11 at 2:30 p.m.. The family is requesting any gifts be given to Wallace or Wycliffe Bible Translators.
