Casey & family,
Those of us who knew Bob as a teacher & taskmaster before he was a husband & father - we can only share some of the loss as well as the memories of a man who expected (and shared) the best that people can offer. May God comfort you and keep the happy times together with you always

Casey and family,
I was so shocked to hear of Bob's passing. I would not have missed the services had I known. He was one of the most significant influences in my young life. As a History teacher, Political enthusiast, Band Leader and great friend. My only regret is that in the later years we had not been as close. I will really miss the "Bear" and offer you all my deepest sympathy and prayers.

Bob,
I only saw you occasionally over the years, but thought of you often. You personified everything good and happy about my Bishop McNamara days. I still smile when I think of those times and your special laugh. Thanks for being there.

Casey and Family,

We remember Bob from so many years ago. It is hard to believe he was 70 already! David also had quad bypass surgery almost three years ago but is doing well. You and Bob sold David and I our first house in District Heights before your move to Marlboro. My Mom bought it for us in the grocery store one day while talking with him! I remember well his days of shielding Frank Aluisi and his Election post. Our prayers go out to you and your family. He will surely be missed... Fondly, Cindy and David Dellosa

The Elections profession lost a passionate and bold innovator. His family a central pivot in their lives and I lost a good friend. He gave his all for the elections process. Now he with his God giving of himself. To Casey and the family he leaves lots of love, high standards, now a big void.

I knew Bob as a Bishop McNamara teacher and band leader from 1966 to 1970. He was truly a remarkable man and an inspiration to all who knew him at Bishop McNamara High School. I remember the day when he proudly asked the band to play his just completed Bishop McNamara Fight Song. What a great man...

I worked with Bob in Howard County. I was told he really knew how to run an election and I found that out first hand. He had a kind heart for his employees who were facing problems and tried to help them. I am sincerely happy to have known Bob and am sorry at his passing. My sympathy and condolences to you, his family.

Please accept our very deepest sympathy. Over the many years I sang with him in the St. Mary's Choir, Bob was always wonderful to have around. Although he was a marvelous singer and a genuine leader, he was amazingly humble at the same time. We feel as though we've also lost a member of our family. God bless all of you -- you are in our prayers.

Bob was a kind man, and he will be missed but he will also live on through his wonderful adult children who carry on Bob's philosophy by being successful and treating each person they come in contact with kindness and respect. Bob was respected and loved because he treated everyone like he wanted to be treated. The whole community will miss him - BOE, Upper Marlboro, church and the schools he was attached too.

As the Director of the Anne Arundel County Board of Elections and as past President of MAEO,I have had the pleasure of knowing Bob for at least 25 years. I have many fond memories. One of those was a discussion we had many years ago regarding dinner out with the family. Bob said that he had taken his wife and kids (three at the time) to this really nice restaurant. I said, gee that had to be expensive. Bob turned around and said: "they are worth it!" We will miss you.

My deepest, deepest sympathies and love are with you. I will miss dad so much, not only because he was a caring, loving and supportive man, but because he was the best dad and husband to you and the best "other" dad a girl could have. I have almost 26 years worth of memories and I will cherish each and every one of them always. I love you all!
