I am so saddened to learn of the passing of my all time favorite OB/GYN, Dr. Badwey. He actually helped deliver me in February of 1964 at Sibley Hospital. I adored him and he was always so kind to me...almost like a father figure. Thoughts and condolences to his wonderful family as he always talked to me about in his office after my appointment. Knowing he is no longer here makes me very sad.

Dr. Badwey was the kindest, most gentle man and I was so lucky he was my OB/GYN. Nothing phased him! Even while I was in the midst of giving birth to my first daughter, he calmly informed me he was using forceps to deliver her. His demeanor kept me from feeling any sense of concern or alarm. He was always that way - informative but aware of how his approach would affect his patients. He was a giant of a man. I loved him. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Dr. Badwey was my doctor for many years. He was a wonderful and encouraging man. I eventually adopted a little boy and named him Robert! I was very sad when I learned he had retired and was never able to say goodbye. I now have two grandchildren which is something I never pictured happening in my life. I always wanted to be able to tell Dr. Badwey. I knew he would be happy for us after the many years of miscarriages. Thank you for a.lowing me to share what a great doctor he was.

My sympathies to the Badwey family. Dr Badwey was firstly my gynecologist then my obstetrician in the early '90s. I had a difficult pregnancy but he was always reassuring, funny yet calming, and successfully delivered my son in 1992. For that I will always be grateful.
