Dear Kay,
I am so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. He was a great man, a friend and a top reporter. I feel privileged to have known and worked with him. I know there are no words to say that measure up to your loss. Memories mean he will be with us always.
My deepest sympathy.

I worked with Bob at the State Journal-Register on Sixth Street. Bob was a real character. He knew how to enjoy life. And he was a good reporter. Thus he moved to the Washington Copley Bureau. I remember his heart transplant and the chuckles he got out of his jokes about getting a younger heart.

To Bob's family,
I have fond memories of our school days at Wanless Grade School and Lanphier High School. Bob always made me laugh.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
