Robert Daniel Haffer
Robert Daniel Haffer, age 85, passed away at John B. Parsons in Salisbury, MD, on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Robert Donald Haffer and Mildred Seis Haffer.
After retirement from Western Electric/AT&T, he and his wife enjoyed their home on the Indian River in Dagsboro, DE for the last 30 years. They enjoyed time with their kids and grandkids on their boat and watching sunsets on the deck with friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joan Marie Haffer; son, Steven Haffer (Terri); daughters, Wendy Fitzgerald (Kevin), and Donna Haffer (Jeff); sister, Sharon Schombert; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and multiple grand-pups.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Tazelaar, and his sister, Myrna Graham.
Cremation followed his death. A family memorial service was held at The Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin, MD. Letters of condolence can be sent to the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com. Arrangements are in care of The Burbage Funeral Home, Berlin, MD.
