DR. ROBERT KRAMER
On Sunday, December 30, 2018, Dr. Robert Kramer, 91, of Potomac, Maryland. Beloved husband of Loretta Kramer; devoted father of Ann Jacobs, Deborah Weinman (Brad), Julie Fox (Jerry) and Cheryl Kramer. Beloved grandfather of Jaclyn Weinman Beck (Jason), Jamie Weinman, Eric, Alexandra and Michael Fox, Allison, Lauren, and Erica Jacobs. Originally from the Bronx, New York, Dr. Kramer moved to Washington, DC after completing four years of medical school in Lausanne, Switzerland. He interned, completed his residency, and then became the first Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center. He met and married the love of his life, Loretta, and together they created a family of four loving daughters and eight grandchildren. Dr. Kramer, with Loretta by his side, built a thriving internal medicine practice and cherished practicing medicine for 49 years.Dr. Kramer lived a long and wonderful life. He was a true family man and loved nothing more than to be surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren and spending the day with his grand-dog, Tiger. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at B'Nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, Maryland. The family will hold a private interment at King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church, Va. Shiva will be held on Thursday, January 3 at B'Nai Israel at 7 p.m. Donations can be made to the University of Maryland Hospital, Division of Nephrology/Transplant Section. Dr Bob Kramer was one of the smartest and best internists ever. He diagnosed my kidney stones with out examining me by phone when my local internist misdiagnosed my ailment as diverticulitis, faced me an order for a CT scan and was right. I was in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and he was in Silver Spring, MD. He was a close personal friend before he was my physician. Just a great Dr and a Great guy

Bob Kramer was the best Doctor I ever had. He was my good friend first, way before he became my Doctor after my former
doctor retired. He even made House calls on my mother when she was in a nursing home. He was a wonderful husband, father grandfather and friend. I loved Bob

Dr. Robert Kramer was sent to us to serve humanity. Many of us are here today because of what he was, a truly great man who has now departed but will always be remembered. Love to Loretta and family.

Dr. Kramer was a kind gentleman and a dedicated physician. I had the honor of seeing many of his patients and I could tell how much he cared about his patients by the way his patients cared about him. He will be dearly missed and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
