This has been a very hard weekend for myself and many of my friends. We lost a great guy, Robbie Rapoport. Many of our friends have known Robbie longer than I but we spent 30 years together, hours and hours, days and days having great times, playing racquetball and golf and just hanging out at the beach in Delaware, traveling by RV to Florida or watching football at George Kaufmann's. We played cards every week at Barry Schwartz's, Ron Hauptman's or his place, where he would sometimes grow weary. If they ever filmed our card games it would of been a hit TV show, Oh! The fun we had. Robbie was not only a great friend and nice guy but he was the smartest man I knew and many of our friends would call for help with finishing the daily crossword puzzle. He loved helping others, especially the elderly and aged to whom he dedicated much of his time. Some things many of you may not know is that he liked prime numbers and he loved his girl Randi-Lynn Cohen along with their dogs Rosy and Rocky. He was so so proud of his son David and his new bride, Jessica. When living in Aspen he would put Rocky in the basket of his bike and Rosy would run alongside and I think those were some of his happiest times. Harriet L. Handler and I are so missing you and hope your ride goes on forever. Love to all that understand how hard it is to lose someone special. RIP as you lived in peace my friend.

I have very fond memories of Robbie. He used to read me our horoscopes at the gym every morning and we'd philosophize and laugh. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers to all.

Please accept my sincere condolences. May the family have hope, faith and trust in God's promise of seeing our loved ones again on a Paradise Earth and the former things will not be recalled in our minds and hearts. Isaiah 65:17
