ROBERT C. SLAGLE
On February 12, 2013 of Annapolis, MD. Beloved husband of Shirley Lee Slagle and the late Mary Slagle. Loving father of Kathleen Gilmore, Thomas and Michael Thompson and the Late Robert Slagle. Also predeceased by his parents, Ferdinand J. and Catherine C. Bladen Slagle, brothers Ferdinand, Leonard, Duane and John Slagle, his twin sister Mary Catherine Fowler. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Viewing on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hardesty Funeral Home P.A., 12 Ridgely Ave., Annapolis, MD. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 10 a.m. in the St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road Annapolis, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD on March 1 at 10 a.m. Contributions are suggested to the Hospice of the Chesapeake Online condolences may be placed at: www.hardestyfuneralhome.com

Dear Shirley, Kathy and Family,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Slagle. He was a good friend of my Mom & Dad (Mary & Joe Graninger), and we all enjoyed spending time with him, Mary, your Family, and more recently, Shirley. I know he is at Peace with all his Friends and Family in God's Kingdom.
May your memories give you Comfort and Strength Always!
