ROBERT ROSCOE TRAMMELL "Moe"  
Of Edgewater, MD and formerly of Easton, MD died at Brightview South River Assisted Living in Edgewater on April 13, 2016. He was 91.Mr. Trammell was born in Asheville, NC on August 7, 1924, son of the late William R. Trammell and Harriet Smathers Trammell. As a child, he moved with his parents to Maryland where he attended Hyattsville High School. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. Shortly after his discharge from the military, he began his career in the asbestos industry, working for Johns Manville Company, Armstrong Cork Co. and The Philip Carey Co. from which he retired as a foreman. He then joined his wife in her antique business known as Bets Antiques in Bowie, MD, in which he remained active until again retiring in 2000. His hobbies included antiques and cabinet making.He is survived by two sons, Stephen G. Trammell of St. Leonards, MD and Robert Rand "Randy" Trammell of Bowie, MD; six grandchildren, Stephanie Bullman, Jennifer Romer, Brett Trammell, Brody Trammell, Jessica Trammell Pirner and Elizabeth Fenfert, and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Elizabeth C. Beckwith, whom he married July 7, 1944. Mrs. Trammell died in 2009. A private graveside service will be held at the Oxford Cemetery Columbarium. Memorial donations may be made to Talbot Humane, 7894 Ocean Gateway, P.O. Box 1143, Easton, MD 21601.
