I miss Bobby anytime someone would ask me about wrestling. He was more than a Maryland State Champion. He was a nice guy and dear friend. Great laugh too. Miss him! Brian Jay Lieberman

Dear Friends,
I (WE) have lost a true friend. Bobby was my friend and wrestling buddy for over 37 years. He was a monster wrestler on the mat and a gentle soul off the mat. He was my street racing buddy... but his gold Ford Galaxy could never beat my "pink" Ford Mustang. He was a Maryland State Champion in Wrestling....I was second in the county. He was my Sunday morning Bagel City breakfast buddy. He was my weight lifting buddy at JCC....always whipping and kicking my butt on the tread mill. He would listen to all my crazy stories and only interject with some of his own unique Bobby Wexler wit. He would call me just to ask how I was doing during my divorce. Always asking how my sons were doing. He really cared!! His "good friends" never called him "Bobby". We just called him "Wexler." I know this sounds really strange...but last night I called his cell phone just to hear his voice mail message. I "have" and will always miss him greatly. G-d Bless you Wexler! Love, your buddy Brian

I was very saddened to hear about Bobby. I have fun memories of hanging out on Tahona Dr and helping each other in some college science classes. His spirit will always be alive in those memories. My deepest sympathy to his family.
