Even though Roger practiced zoning and land development law for large developers, he was one of the few such attorneys willing to also represent citizens associations. He first worked as the attorney for the West Bradley Citizens Association in 1967 - 51 years ago - when he was a 26 year old trial attorney. I got to know him in 1971 and had the pleasure of working with him over the next 30 years when we called on him to represent us - until 2003, when, unfortunately for us but fortunately for the people of Maryland, he became a federal judge.
My sincerest condolences Catherine on you loss. (I also have been married for 57 years.) Unfortunately, I did not learn about Roger until this weekend, after the Mass was over. I certainly would have attended.

I had the privilege of being on Judge Titus' jury in Jan 2014 and at the end of our service he came into the jury room and thanked each of us individually. He autographed my copy of his Jury Instructions - an 85 page document which I've kept these 5 years. Deepest sympathy for your loss - a great man indeed.

My sincerest condolences to the Titus family. Before he became Judge Titus I had the opportunity to work with Attorney Titus. Smart, strategic, hard working and dedicated to serving the City of Rockville. He loved his family and his career. Rest peacefully Judge Titus.

The world has lost a wonderful judge and human being. I'm so lucky to have spent my first year out of law school in his chambers clerking; I've said it before and I'll say it again, it was one of the most unique and amazing jobs ever. We may not have seen eye to eye politically, but that didn't matter - in my experience, what mattered for him was being open minded, fairly applying the law, and making reasoned decisions. (The world could stand for more people like that, in my humble opinion.) He also had a top notch sense of humor, and implicitly believed in and supported me, long after I'd left his chambers. He will be missed by many.

I was sad to hear of the passing of your wonderful father and husband. He was my patient for many years. I always looked forward to our wonderful discussions of the law, dentistry, and current events and our days at BCC. I remember attending his exciting ceremony on becoming a judge in Greenbelt. He will certainly be missed. Special thoughts for Paula and Felix.
