RONALD JAMES DAILEY, SR.
On Monday, February 5, 2007, at his residence in Alexandria, Virginia. Beloved husband of Barbara Dailey; devoted father of Linda Dailey, Sandra Tavik (Jerry) and Ronald James Dailey, Jr. (Diane); brother of Peggy MeCurdy (Jake), Robert Dailey (Anita), Joyce Fenton (Donald), Angela Morton (Philip) and Bonnie Moshier (David); proud grandfather of Carolina Tavik and Matthew Tavik. Relatives and friends may call JEFFERSON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA on Thursday, February 8, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 10 a.m. The Rev. Dr. David Moshier, officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Life With Cancer, 3300 Gallows Road, Falls Church, VA 22042. www.lifewithcancer.org.

RON WAS AN AMAZING MAN.I ALWAYS LOVED AND WILL MISS HIS BIG BEAR HUGS HE GAVE ME AS SOON AS HE WALKED IN THE DOOR EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT AT BOWLING!!! HIS SMILE LIT UP THE ROOM! HE WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART!! MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH BARBARA AND FAMILY!!

Barbara, I have mentioned this to you several times as we talked, but! I have never met a person as strong as Ron. After all he had gone through he always, always, had a positive outlook. His strong faith in GOD was incredible. As I mentioned, you sure got a gem when you met Ron. What a wonderful sweet and caring person he was.I know GOD will give you the strength you need right now to help you with him leaving to be with our lord. God wanted another flower for his garden so he picked one of yours. Ron..we love you and we are going to miss you. Your Cousin Darlene...

Although I didn't know Ron that well, I know Barbara. Barbara always talked well of Ron. The times that I was over their house, Ron has always been so kind. Even gave my sister a fishing pole and taught her some things about fishing, so she would have some knowledge, when going fishing with her boyfriend.
